Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium Funding?

As you may be aware the Government have allocated a significant amount of money (£1.25 billion) to schools across the country to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals, those children looked after by the Local Authority and children of armed service personnel.

All schools are free to choose the best way to allocate this money to address the specific needs of their children and families. However; all schools are required to report the amount of money that they have been allocated and how this money is being spent.
