Nursery have had a fantastic week preparing for Bonfire Night. On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to have a visit from some real fire fighters – we had a look at the fire engine and used the hose to spray water. We talked about how to stay safe on Bonfire Night. In the classroom, we have been getting dressed for Bonfire Night in the home corner, made fireworks using our sparkly playdough and used our mark making skills to make firework patterns in glitter. To end our celebrations, we had a bonfire party with Reception on Friday. We sat around the bonfire, enjoyed some yummy treats and even heard some fireworks.
