This morning, Year 1 have had a very special visitor to end our animals topic. Miss Moss came into visit us so we could ask her lots of questions about the animals she looks after. She also brought us some stethoscopes to hear our own heartbeats, like she does to the animals. We also have some leaflets all about foods that are dangerous to our pets at this time of year. Lots of us would love to be vets so Miss Moss explained how she became a vet.

Some of the questions we asked included:

• What is the best way to look after a puppy?
• What medicines do animals need?
• What happens if an animal loses a tooth?
• What happens if an animal breaks a bone?
