This week Year 5 have been planning and setting up a fair test into this enquiry question. The variable they have chosen to change is the liquid type – water, salt solution, vinegar and vegetable oil. They have made predictions into which liquid will slow the rate of rusting the most and will check on the progress of the experiment over the next week.
