Year 6 had a brilliant time visiting the Beacon of Light, Sunderland, to take part in STEMFest 2024! They learnt all about the wonders of different STEM subjects and were encouraged to consider the different careers available to them in the future. They learnt all about the biologists attempting to contain viruses, how oil plantations work, the varied roles of Nissan engineers and how scientists are developing greater technology to understand space.
