Key Stage 2 Holds School Council Elections
Today was an exciting day for the pupils of Key Stage 2 as they held their highly anticipated School Council elections. The event was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to get involved in the democratic process, express their ideas, and vote for their peers to represent their voices.
In the lead-up to the elections, candidates from each class prepared speeches, outlining their ideas and promises to improve the school. From playground improvements to environmental initiatives, the pupils showcased great enthusiasm and creativity in their campaigns.
Polling stations were set up in the school hall, where each pupil cast their vote confidentially. Teachers were on hand to guide them through the process, making it a valuable learning experience about democracy and leadership.
Once all the votes are counted, the winners will be announced in a special assembly. These young leaders will now meet regularly to discuss ideas and plan projects that will benefit the whole school community.
