Year 1 baking

The children made chocolate chip cookies for the Macmillan cake sale. We talked about the equipment and ingredients needed to make the cookies. The children were able to follow step by step instructions and weigh out the ingredients using the scales. They thought the final result looked delicious and couldn't wait to buy one at the cake sale.
