Year 6 Easter Church Visit

Year 6 visited St Cuthberts church to learn about the Easter story. The children were split into two groups and took part in different activities around the church to help identify and remember the key events in the Easter story. For example: the children cleaned their shoes to remember how Jesus cleaned the disciples feet; ate bread and grapes which symbolised the body and blood of Christ and discussed hopes and memories they had of their own.
