Middle course of the river Tyne

This morning we visited Corbridge to see the middle course of the Tyne river. We spent some time doing a field sketch and discussing the differences between the middle course and the upper course of the river at Kielder where the source is.

Next week we are visiting the lower course of the Tyne river at Tynemouth.
