To bring our “Jeans for Genes Day” to a close, the children each constructed their very own double helix model using strawberry liquorice, gummy bears and cocktail sticks. The assembling of the models required a lot of care and concentration as some of the components were very tricky to assemble. Once the children had finished creating their edible DNA structures we all sat down together to eat them. They were scrumdiddlyumptious!
