Following the children’s exploration of Preston Hall’s Museum and interactive Victorian Street, the children then took part in a toys from the past themed workshop. The children (and adults) had so much exploring the vast selection of toys and games. When doing so, the children discovered that a lot of the toys were made from fabric, metal or wood as these were the materials accessible to people in the Victorian era. They also had the opportunity to explore a wide range of moving pictures and mechanical trinkets that were deemed as monumental inventions during this period. Take a look for yourself.
