Over the past few weeks, Year One have been carrying out a wide range of activities in order to help them master the skill of recognising and locating numbers up to 100. During this particular activity, the children were required to work with a partner and take it in turns to cover three consecutive numbers on a 100 square (this being either vertically or horizontally) for their friend to then identify and record on a whiteboard. To do so, the children had to apply their knowledge of numbers 1-100 as well their understanding of which numbers are one more/less and ten/more less than given number up to 100.

Well done Number Ninjas!
